My Memoir : Once as the Business Development Director for QMS Management Consultants Sdn Bhd

Partly notes are being compiled from various dates and events for reference and constantly full effort exerted as the Business Development Director which include but not limited to:

- Overall in charge of promoting and establishing ISO consultancy and In-house Training towards  all Federal and Local Government Departments & Agencies.

- Coordinated many ISO presentations to various departments and agencies including East Malaysia Government Agencies.

- Has successfully led the Company to registration with Sarawak Centre for Modern Management to penetrate into Government Agencies trainings.

- Throughout self-involvement in quality & training management, had conducted and co-coordinated many training section and responsible for public sector business and so on.

- Represented company in any business negotiation and maintaining business communication networking with other foreign countries such as UK, Singapore etc for future business opportunities.

BHD. has involved in Quality field for more than 9 years by providing consultancy services including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, QS 9000, TS 16949, Cost Saving and In-House Training such as QCC, TQM, Team building, 5S and etc. We are also specialist in Productivity and Strategy Consulting and Training. Our proud credentials from private companies and manufacturers are recognizing our excellent consultancies and training programmes.

Jan 2004

02 Recd call on labour office, Kulim and was informed that QMS could call directly for  any appt to discuss further. Still trying to get DRB-Hicom. Informed others. Unable  to send any letters at this moment due to holidays. SUK PP is progressing well.  Lee still waiting for investor feedback on the meeting to be set up. Informed  others. Tried to find options on other investors such as Brunei and Spore.
03 YDP MPPP was posted to other agency and replaced by Datuk Ahmad Pelian Talib  Pengarah Tanah and Galian Negeri. Informed others. Still searching for any latest  news on investors.
04 Recd feedback for Brunei contact but no as expected. However, still will proceed  for more details. Tried to find way of accessing other investors' channel.
05 PDT called and reconfirmed the dates. Mr Philip from Spore responded and sent  proposal. Kept sending sms to others. Recd time table for PDT.
06 Lee is meeting with the investors this evening. Have yet to receive any feedback  from Philip. Still searching for solid Brunei investor.
07 Waiting for Lee's news. investors not interested. Called informer to know more abt  Brunei investor and was advised to be well careful.
08 Tried to find other option. Called for bank loans and appt was on 12th 2004, Vistana  Hotel. Jamal and Zakid confirmed to resign if go for loans. Kept sending letters and  phone-calls. Still have yet to receive any new developments.
09 PDT confirmed the audit training. Recd new public program for TG Tan  on Mind  training.
10 Updating contacts and informations
12 KY Lim called and updated on SUK PP. Meeting with Financial Consultants at 1800. The  loans was KIV. Still hoping for investors' investment.Agreed to promote the Mind  program and need to move fast.
13 Sent 14 letters to private companies for the course. Updating others.
14 Recd PDT confirmation letter. Need to distribute more official letters to announce  the course concerned. Called MPPP for new updates and shall meet up on Friday.  Update others.
15 Kept sending official letters to any potential clients either private or public
 sectors. Total up  35.
16 Met up with En Ibrahim for documentation review and succeed. Recd call
 from Tan to update on new information on mind program. Have yet to receive any  email from him.
17 Updating information and notes. The information shall be recd on Monday. Philip  unable to invest in cash but interested in partnership. Informed others. Sent email  to him requested further plan from him on this matter. New arrangement by LK on  company operations.
19 Waiting for Tan's email to proceed with Mind program.
20 Recd the new flyer and sent letters to any potential clients.
21 Sent letters. Was informed that QMS closed until next Wednesday.
26 Called Ms Mahes to clarify on certain issues. Called and have appt with En Suhaimi on Wednesday morning.
27 Internal Audit Course for Pejabat Daerah & Tanah Bertam in Sunway Hotel.   Attended the event to ensure smooth in any matters  arises.
28 KL Trip: Meet up with En Suhaimi, Kementerian Belia & Sukan.
29 Kept sending public seminar letter to public and private sectors.
30 Kept sending letters. Following up with phone calls. No response from Philip. No news  on any courses or public seminar.

 

Feb 2004
03 Missed the meeting due to miscommunication. Sent iSO proposal to Kementerian Belia & Sukan.  Recd new training calendar 2004 and sent to any potential clients either public or private  sectors. Sent SUK Quality Manual to En Basir.
04 Kept sending letters.
06 updating information. QMS meeting.
08 KL trip.
09 Kept sending letters, following up with phone call  for any potential clients towards ISO and courses.
10 KL trip. Meet up with Graham & Jon from CERAM.
11 Sent certification to PDT.

13 Tried to call Rahim-PDC for 30 million fund but no reply. Met up with Lee for PDC information. Sent letters.
14 Updating information. To call Pen-Group Training centre. Called Pentamaster.
16 PDC appt. Tried to meet up with Informer and have yet to meet him.
18 Spoke  to Pn Aminah Sarawak regarding QCC and 5S. Sent training email to Norehan Pen Group. Discussed with Lim on 5S consultancy.
19 Kedah trip. Met up with Rahim PKNK and interested in 5S. To follow up. CERAM will be discussing on QMS  among them. Sent company profile to Teoh HR mgr Renesas Semiconductor SB. Meet up with Abg M Noor.
20 Tried to call fibrerail but still have yet to get Mr Ang. Sent letters. Met

07 Spoken  to Aminah abt QCC:postpone and 5 s: Oct 2004 or next year. Sent 5S quotation to her.  LTN will confirm the dates. Communicating by SMS  with others.
08 MPPP sent Manual Quality amendment. Passed to Ah Lim and followed up. BC finance  proposal failed.  Sent official letters to potential clients.
09 Follow up calls and updating information. Mr Hallman CMM to be called next Monday.

13 Follow up calls. Makmal Kesihatan Awam requested for program list. Bahagian Sumber Manusia Kem  Kesihatan Malaysia requested for ISO quotation.

17 Met up with Toray  Plastics Sr Mgr and to follow up.
19 Makmal Kesihatan Awam confirmed QMS to deliver the course on 18,19 & 20 may 2004  in City Bayview Hotel
 Penang. Did not attend the QMS Design Meeting due to family matters.
20 Follow up calls and updating resources.
21 Sent proposal to CERAM to  represent as a local agent in Malaysia or Asia countries. Requested Makmal  Kesihatan Awam to reschedule the dates to 20,21 & 22 May 2004 due to tight training. Met up with LK for discussion.   Contacted Mutalib to push Stainless steel project to Ministry Of Defense. CERAM agreed to let QMS acts as  their agent in Malaysia or Asia countries and will discussed further in their August trip.
22 CMM Sarawak called and requested for Course Training. Updating others. Working on Stainless Steel plan.
23 CICS still has interested in collabration with QMS and will decide in 4 months period. CMM called again and requested
 for other Course Training. Kept communicating with Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor  for any leads. Updating others.
24 Updating information and resources.
26 Preparing Quotation and course outlines for CMM. Updating information. Received email from Pn Noraishah LPJ  confirmed on any courses required will be informed.
27 Sent CMM quotations. According to Mutalib, MOD was not interested in the project.
28 Following up with CMM and phone calls.
29 Follow up phone calls.
30 CICS responded and wished to know if UK trip could be done.  Updating others.

 

May
03 Sent email to CICS for further information. Following up phone calls.

05 Responded to TG Tan. Tried to work out for a new lead with ITMP.

06 Sent emails attached with Training list to all potential clients.
07 CICS responded with more information. Updating others.
10 Kept sending emails to potential clients and follow up emails & phone calls.
11 BSN called for registration invitation and future vender calling. Informed others but no reply. The lead with ITMP
 cancelled due to failed to get the business and fund was finished.
12 All agreed to make the UK trip on 01st of June 2004. Working on preparation to make the trip happens by fixing apt  with CERAM & CICS
