MT Gas Jade being towed by AHTS Confidence

MT GAS JADE LOA 141.75 MTRS 6.9 MTRS is having M/E problem and needed to be towed to Singapore by AHTS CONFIDENCE. Boarded the vessel at 1600hrs. The anchor was up by 1700hrs and started to be towed with the speed of 3 knots. Disembarked the vessel at 1830hrs after she was in safe manoeuvring towards highseas.

Hot Ballon show in Padang Polo Penang

We went there for 2nd day show and hoping to see the floating balloons but were informed that the show was cancelled with regard safety reason as wind started to develop strong. We sspent times wandering around and enjoyed the fires performed by the ballon pilots.

MT SEA PRINCESS LOA 101 MTRS WTH 6.75 MTRS DRAFT carried Bitumen called Penang Port for bunkering and expected to sail tomorrow morning to next destination.

Inner Bulk Carrier Termknal (INBCT)

Boarded the 100 more mtrs with 7.5 mtrs  vessel at 1300hrs on 25th Jan 2015 and the anchor up proceeded to INBCT for port side alongsided only against the flooding current. Approached the berth with various and minimizing speed for safe manoeuvring. The vessel tended to swing starboard at the minimal speed. The assistance tugs with Eagle Ray attached at the starboard bow and Nadyionel. The swing being held easily with the tug assistance at safe speed. While approaching the inbct dolphin, the vessel was put to minimum swing to port but she tended to swing fast and the swinging was controlled steadily.

MS Europa at Swettenham Pier Penang Port

Boarded the vessel of 198 mtrs wth 6.2 mtrs draft at 0745hrs 17th February 2015 @ bouy 2....warmth welcome by the bridge team and proceeded through the channel with 12 knots speed. Arrived at the wharf around 0845hrs with minimal speed for manoeuvring to berth at South wharf on port side alongsided with various communications established for safe berthing. Finally she rested firmly with 4 x 2 moorings. Disembarked at 0915hrs. The vessel expected to unberth by midnight for next destination.
