Biar apa pun orang luar nak kata, komen, kritik atau cuba jadi hero Penang Port, kami, terutamanya anak – anak melayu yang berkemampuan dengan kapasiti kami tersendiri di dalam menggerakkan Penang Port dan tetap melaksanakan pelbagai perancangan strategik syarikat merangkumi jangkamasa pendek dan panjang di dalam mengekalkan prestasi Penang Port yang telah mencatatkan peningkatan berterusan. Amalan 5S di tempat kerja

Amalan mengemas dan mengatur tempat kerja merupakan satu amalan yang mungkin menimbulkan perasaan kurang minat di kalangan atau kebanyakan pekerja. Sesiapa yang telah berusaha untuk mencuba displin – displin yang terdapat di dalam 5S ini mungkin mendapatinya agar sukar untuk mengekalkannya secara berterusan. Mungkin kita telah mencuba untuk menyakinkan diri bahawa akitivi pengemasan tempat kerja tidak melibatkan sebarang kos namun secara dasarnya displin – displin mesti atau wajib dipatuhi oleh semua yang terlibat agar amalan ini akan menjadikan susana tempat kerja yang boleh dibanggakan. Perlaksanaan prinsip “satu tempat kerja untuk semua dan setiap barang ada tempatnya” akan menjadikan ia satu operasi yang seragam atau standard dimana pengurusan tempat kerja secara bebas akan memudahkan lagi penghasilannya. On 1st of January 1956, the Penang Port Commission (PPC) was established under the Penang Port Commission Act 1955 with the responsibility to operate and maintain the port and ferry facilities. Although PPC has licensed its port operation and ferry services to Penang Port Sdn Bhd in 1994, it still continues to play various important roles such as a Port & Regulatory Authority, Lessor, Licensor and Landlord, Port Resource Centre for the Northern Region and as the Administrator of the Free Commercial Zone. As the Port & Regulatory Authority, PPC needs to ensure the execution of its statutory functions in the port being implemented smoothly and oversee the activities within the port limit constantly.
