STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURES (SOP)

The SBU-Marine management is committed to continuously ensuring consistency of safety procedures being practiced at all time by all boats while rendering their services. This procedure is merely important to being adhered to evade any unforeseen circumstances which can jeopardize the crewmembers’ safety and port operations overall. This procedure is drafted with referenced and adhered to the SBU Marine  and company’s requirements, rules and regulations. It should be treated and implemented as the standardized operation guidelines by all boats while executing their daily duties shall be revised at any times and updated regularly with the consent of the SBU-marine Management.

The General Manager, overall in charge to ensure that efficient and safe Marine practices being executed at all times by every boat or any floating crafts with the port limits. As for Head Of Operation, it is his responsible of  the formulation and execution of policies and directions on pilot boats, hydrography boat or any floating crafts operating within the port limits as appropriate and is efficient for the purpose of enabling safety procedures adhered at all times.

He also needs to constant monitoring at all times for smooth-run operations assurance. Ensure that all boats to establish a constant communication with Marime Port Control to update on their activities and acknowledge  any rules, regulations and any special instructions given by SBU Marine at all times. Ensure that all rules, regulations and instructions given by him should be well understood and adhered by all boats at all times to ensure safety implementation maintained. He shall determine the necessity of giving any instructions or approval prior to safety regulations & policies at all times. He is also shall update, terminate or otherwise upon to the General Manager (Marine)’s instruction.

As for Hydrography Manager, he shall  Overall in charge of hydrography boat to ensure that efficient and safe Marine practices being executed at all times.   Establish and update the Head Of Marine Operations on hydrography boat’s daily activites and crewmembers’ exchange planning due to its long and exhausted operations.  Ensure that all crewmembers maintain a constant communication with Marine Port Control to report their activities accordingly and fully understand any rules, regulations and instructions given to them.
