End days of Maritime Education & Training (MET) in Maritime Education & Training Academy (META)



Thank you very much for your updates and i do sincerely appreciate the info and your kind look up on me. I, myself, have taken step backward not to interfere with the new management planning and just deliver my lecturing as long as they need my service. I undertsood the pressure being exerted on you and, of course, it is tough for you to adsorb alone. Personally, i am quite frustrated with the old management's decision of leaving just like that but we could not blame them as they, themselves are facing  critical financial problems as well as internal shareholders crisis.

It is hard to explain to those who do not how marine training procedures work and how they should be done. Of course, they would be thinking it is easy as they know and would comment and say out what they think. Let them go and do what they believe in to run the business. Please take one step backward, don't pressure on yourself. please tell yourself that you are working as a normal staff to them and comply to what they want. Your build up skills with the old management is to kept silently to yourself. Believe me, the skill would be needed again as the old management's planning is moving forward ahead of the original plan and would call you when the time is up. I, myself,  personally would call you to join in my team in this new MET or whatever team which would be decided later as i want my team to re-gather and re-work as normally as we are. I know your capabilities and do appreciate it personally.

Let the management decide on the MET's function afterall they, themselves do not know what the main objective of the MET establishment at the first place. My advice to you is just take cool and work to earn for your living and enjoy life. Follow the management's directive and show no smart you are as they would not understand what you are saying as you are far ahead of them.

Whenever i was in META i could feel the frustration feeling filling in the building and missing the working atmosphere before but we must keep easy and perform our normal task as usual. However, the feeling would be regained soon and we, ourselves should keep in touch by constant communicating and working closely. I would be around and update you accordingly. Therefore, smile and enjoy your working.

Beberapa bulan lalu, pelbagai desas - desus terdengar dek telingaku akan persaraan beliau dan perlantikan pengerusi baru menggantikannya. Namun, aku memilih untuk berdiam diri tanpa sebarang komen.
