A Memoir: A Fairy Tale Story
In
August 2011, I was heavily persuaded to join up with Legasi Ulung Sdn
Bhd and support its objectives and mission by Muhammad
Awis Qarni Ahmad Rashidi, Managing Director and Abd
Ra’uf Bin Amin, Director
with the promising of highly paid salary with a BMW 5
series model. I and eight others were taken to the BMW showroom at
No. 806, Blok D Dataran Usahawan Kelana, Jln Ss 7/26, SS7, 47301 Petaling Jaya,
Selangor on 22nd September 2011 for car registration individually. No. of
cheques signed by them and chairman which were handed to the BMW Sales Personnel for official registration. A lot of pictures
on document signing, cheques hand over, group gathering and etc were proudly taken by Managing Director's brother meant to be uploaded in the company official website. It was about 30 family members turned out to witness the so-called history written in the company track record as it was declared as a billion ringgit company with extraordinary business projects meant to shake the maritime industry especially in the marine education field.
However, until now I did not receive any single cents or the car. Reminders have been sent many times but both of them, Muhammad Awis and Ra'uf refused
to respond either verbally or writing and pretended not to be responsible to any promises made.
I
have learned that some ex-staff have lodged reports to claim their salaries
through Jabatan Buruh and the court has awarded the Legasi Ulung Management to
pay the claims accordingly. Unfortunately no payment has been made nor further court
action has been charged against them until today. Even police reports were lodged by marine students who felt being cheated but still no
further actions by the police against them until today. I wonder why?
The
company has shifted to the new address and as the story, the two conmen are still alive and enjoying
their lives very much; as usual and I believe that they
are still doing very well conning others with the same motive without any fear of being charged
or arrested.
