Time Management

Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals complying with a due date.

Time management in simple words is how you manage time wisely which is  24 hrs a day. It is not about you controlling your time to certain task or event or meeting for example, spending your time with family or friend and you can limit your time with them as you creating an alien here. Time management is about to do so simply a little self discipline of your time on the follwing :

  • eliminate wastage


  • be prepared for meetings
  • refuse excessive workloads
  • monitor project progress
  • allocate resource (time) appropriate to a task's importance
  • ensure that long term projects are not neglected
  • plan each day efficiently
  • plan each week effectively
