The 1st 184.06 mtrs tanker alongsides at Penang Port VOTP
I boarded the MT NAIG8 AMAZONITE of LOA 184.06 mtrs and draft of 6.6 mtrs at 0600 hrs on 21st of June 2015 at Penang Port Petroleum Anchorage and started to heave up the anchor. Once cleared of heaving up, the vessel proceeded to VOTP with minimal speed of 6.5 knts. The harbour tugs were attached infront of Butterworth Wharf and vessel approached the pier easily. The vessel was finally alsingsided at 0720 hrs and lot of times spent to moor her with 5 x 2 lines fore and aft station. She was fully moored at 0745hrs.
